Development-oriented Teacher in Psychology, Sociology, and Criminology
JENSEN Gymnasium Norrköping is located in bright and fresh school facilities at Holmentorget, near the congress hall in central Norrköping. We are a school that trains our students for reality, whether it concerns future studies or working life. We are now looking for a development-oriented teacher in psychology, sociology, and criminology who wants to help develop our social program.
We focus on literature, reading, and writing required for higher studies. Our students should achieve a high level of knowledge and develop their thinking by thinking freely and broadly. At JENSEN Gymnasium, we maintain high quality, as confirmed by the Swedish Schools Inspectorate's quality reviews.
Our corporate culture is characterized by high ambitions, professionalism, a clear health profile, and a pronounced dress code. We have a positive team spirit where all employees contribute to taking responsibility for the whole. In our latest national employee survey, 91% recommend JENSEN as a workplace!
Qualifications
You are a qualified upper secondary school teacher in psychology, sociology, and criminology with good organizational skills who enjoys working in a team-oriented manner. You approach lessons with great enthusiasm and have the ability to engage and inspire students. In our recruitment, great importance is placed on personal suitability for the position, and we hope that, like us, you have a strong commitment to development and apply clear leadership in the classroom.
Employment Type
The position is a permanent full-time employment starting in the autumn term in August 2026 or by agreement. We apply a six-month probationary period.
You apply by registering your CV and answering a number of selection questions in our recruitment system. Applications submitted in other ways will not be considered. Please note that selection is ongoing, and the position may be filled before the last day of advertising, so we encourage you to submit your application as soon as possible.
Within upper secondary school, you must, according to law (2000:873), present an extract from the criminal record. The extract is made via polisen.se with digital BankID. If you do not have BankID, you can order the form by mail; please do this as soon as possible, as manual handling of the form takes a long time.
The first step in our recruitment process is to complete two psychological tests. After submitting your application, you will receive two emails in quick succession with test links. You will receive feedback immediately after completing the tests. If you have not received an email with a link to the tests, please check your spam folder as the email may end up there.
